Best of Summer Sounds: Chicago 2017

Pitchfork Music Festival (July 14 -16) – Embrace your own free spirit with a variety of alt rock, rap, hip-hop, electronic and dance music artists in Union Park for a weekend of music and entertainment.

Lollapalooza (August 3-6) – The magical combination of letters that drive alt rock, punk rock heavy metal and hip hop fans crazy. The event provides and showcases music from popular headlining bands including Cage the Elephant, Chance the Rapper, Muse and Lorde as well as up-and-coming artists such as Arizona, Mondo Cozmo, Zara Larsson and Grouplove.  Lollapalooza has been held in Grant Park since 2003 and fans definitely do not see it stopping anytime soon. Barry Manilow (July 29) – The best selling adult contemporary artist of all time belts out his hits at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont at the end of July. Don’t miss it!

Rod Stewart & Cindi Lauper (August 5) – Don’t miss this one! Rod Stewart performs with special guest, Cyndi Lauper, at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Tinley Park. Grab your tickets before they’re gone!

Chicago Jazz Festival (August 31-September 3) – The annual Chicago Jazz Festival makes it’s return this year during Labor Day weekend at Millennium Park. Enjoy jazz from various artists during this free festival. Don’t miss out!
