Summer Sounds in Chicago 2016

Grab your shades and toss on your tanktop, it’s time for summer concerts in Chicago! If you haven’t snatched up tickets and booked a hotel room, it’s time to make some moves, tickets are selling out and rooms are going like hotcakes. Check out what’s rocking Chicago this summer!

Carrie Underwood (May 17) – Don’t miss Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller tour at the Allstate Arena. Highlights include her 360-degree stage during an evening of twangy tunes and ridiculous high notes.

Guns N’ Roses (July 1) – The original members of Guns N’ Roses have reunited for the Not in This Lifetime Tour! Expect the setlist to lean heavily on classic records and gloss over more recent tunes at their performance at Soldier Field.

Adele (July 10, 11, 13) – United Center. 7:30 pm. Need we say more?

Pitchfork Music Festival (July 15 -17) – Soak up the sun will jamming out to Brian Wilson, Sufjan Stevens, Miguel, Carly Rae Jepsen and more. Prepare your vintage clothing and dusty baseball caps and don’t miss this event in Union Park.

Lollapalooza (July 28 – 31) – The magical combination of twelve letters that drive heavy metal, alternative rock, punk rock and hip hop fans nuts.  This year, the festival celebrates it’s 25th anniversary and boasts four days of music in Grant Park. The event provides and showcases music from popular headlining bands including Ellie Goulding, Third Eye Blind, Radiohead, Major Lazer and Lana Del Ray as well as up-and-coming artists such as The 1975, Halsey, Alessia Cara, St. Lucia and Years & Years.  Lollapalooza has been held in Grant Park since 2003 and fans definitely do not see it stopping anytime soon. Tickets and weekend passes go on sale soon so keep your eyes open!
